Q)Describe the main character. How is she/he like or unlike you? How interesting is she/he to read about?
The book 'Unnatural Creatures' is a book comprised of several short stories selected by Neil Gaiman. The first story is titled simply as a design of a black blob which seems very unusual and anonymous. Reginald Archer is the protagonist of the story, who is described as fourth-three year old bachelor that is "fond of a the smooth running household". Due to this he is keen on maintaining residence in a well kept place that is crisp and clean. The character is rather unlike me as I actually find myself being the opposite of his posh persona. Archer is able to manage employing servants to strictly clean up a small black blob which appears to be innocent at first but lethal in the end, if I was in his situation I would probably ignore such small spot in the first place. Although I do like to organize my living space, I can deal with a mess when I have other things to do or just feel lazy. Furthermore, I actually find it fascinating how his attitude towards cleanliness of his white napkin triggered the stress which lead to the investigation of a spreading carnivorous black blob.
