RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION INFOGRAPHIC
I have created my infographic about religious discrimination, giving small descriptions about the issue with bright visuals. I have included areas of enlarged text and pictorial icons to emphasise certain areas or to add aesthetic value. Aside this, i have also provided brief explanations to give a deeper insight into it without losing the interest of the targeted audience, mainly young adolescences and teenagers. I’ve chosen to focus on those groups as they are exposed more frequently with conflicts in the media regarding religion and more maturity to understand reasons behind discrimination. Furthermore, I formatted the infographic by placing an interesting topic header and defined what religious discrimination was, capturing the reader’s attention and providing an introduction to what’s discussed. Next, I included possible causes to why some people choose to be religiously intolerant, a deeper evaluation of influences and simple reasonings. Facts about harassment due to religious dresses and tolerance rates gave examples of how these impact our societies, making links to the previous section on causes. From here, I began to explain the situation in school environments, relating it to my mission statement and narrowing the focus to students. With this, statistics on how religion effects student relationships and possibly creating relations to the target audience, exposed to similar events or feelings, Finally, I ended it with what characteristics and qualities encourage religious tolerance, providing awareness of how those can be attained, improvements to change and its presence in an international community.
