I think that overall I generally got an average grade but I do think it is good for being my first assessment in high school, with more critical marking and styles. In each criteria I feel that I have room for improvement in different areas, but significantly did do better in criteria A and C comparing to the rest. Firstly, criteria A focuses on providing a perspective and justifying opinions which are stated. For the letter, I managed to do a good evaluation of relevant factors I discussed with the support of relevant factors but I thought that I could could have provided a more in-depth point of view to allow a more thorough analysis. Secondly, I got also got a six for criteria C, by giving a strong personal in some areas of my letter. I thought that my stylistic choices would benefit whomever was reading my letter as I thought that it did give an authentic feeling of who I am when explaining my language history with English. Despite this, I could have covered this voice in other areas that seemed to bookish in its language or didn't really seem like it was described in a very genuine way. Aside this, I got a five for both criteria B and D. Although I did show a clear development and focus throughout in B, in the future I should refine my organisational structure to prevent sentences from being too long and complete my thoughts. Finally for criteria D, I could raise my grade by being more careful in grammatical and spelling errors to compliment my good range of vocabulary. Therefore, rushing and not looking through my final work before giving it in can cause such errors. In conclusion, in upcoming assessments I should apply the feedback I have been given from this task to allow myself to achieve higher standards.
